April-May: Alice Springs Cup Carnival culminating in Alice Springs Cup on the 1st Mon in May.

2nd weekend in June: Finke Desert Race

June: Alice Springs Beanie Festival

July-August: Desert Mob Art Show

1st weekend in Aug: Harts Range Bush Sports Weekend

August - Yuendumu Sports Festival

September - Alice Springs Festival of the Desert; Desert Harmony Arts & Cultural Festival (Tennant Creek);

October - Inma Festival (Angatja via Uluru).

The Alice Springs Masters Games are held every two years on the even (so 2010, 2012, 2014 etc).
